On the occasion of the Day of Hungarian Culture, the Liszt Institute – Hungarian Cultural Center Beijing and the Hungarian Jewish Museum and Archives, is presenting a photography exhibition by Hungarian photographer and cinematographer Doron Ritter, focusing on objects and artifacts, creating an imprint of Jewish civil existence. Through mise-en-scènes of every-day life objects created specifically by the artist, a social stratum, that has for centuries played and continues to play a decisive role in Hungarian culture is presented.

 Hungarian artist Ritter Doron has gained wide recognition in the fields of Street Photography and Still Life Photography over the past 27 years, in addition to applied photography and experience in the advertising industry. As such, he received free reign from the Hungarian Jewish Museum and Archives to present the cultural heritage of Hungarian Jewry through his still-life works, using artifacts from different places and periods in Hungary.
