Since 2018, the music teachers of Beijing’s Kodály Point have continuously participated in the Happy Chorus 3+1 event organized by the Deqing Foundation for rural children and music teachers. This year marks the fourth event in Changsha City, Hunan Province. Chenzhou City and Anren County have successively held similar activities, including the Kodaly teaching method master class and chorus conductor demonstration class, successfully introducing the Kodaly music teaching method to more than 1,000 music teachers in Hunan and Hubei, while stepping into the local primary and middle school classrooms to help children understand the original Kodaly method. Now, the Anren County Education Bureau has recorded the achievements of these past years in a new publication, a truly great honor and achievement to the Liszt Institute’s Kodály Point.
